Surfshark speed and connection quality in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

We benchmark Surfshark on nearby Saint Vincent and the Grenadines nodes during peak hours, measuring download retention, jitter and connection setup time. Its 9.4/10 speed score reflects consistent throughput rather than a single best-case run.

WireGuard-based connections open fastest; OpenVPN remains the compatibility fallback on restrictive networks.

Streaming and apps in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Surfshark earns 9.6/10 for streaming. Popular libraries such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ generally load without buffering on the recommended server list.

• Use provider-listed streaming servers, not the default nearest node
• Test during your normal viewing hours, not off-peak
• Keep the app updated — server lists change without notice

Security, privacy and logging

Security scores 9.5/10. Surfshark supports modern protocols (WireGuard, OpenVPN), a kill switch, DNS/leak protection and per-app split tunnelling on the main platforms.

We weight audited no-logs claims and leak protection above marketing features — that is where the 9.5/10 comes from.

• WireGuard and OpenVPN support
• Kill switch and DNS leak protection
• Audited no-logs posture (verify the latest audit date)
• Split tunnelling on supported platforms

Pricing, plans and refunds

Surfshark starts at $2.49/mo on long-term plans. The current coupon TOPVPN85 is applied at checkout. The intro rate is attractive; the real question is the renewal price after the first term.

How we tested

Scores combine repeatable speed retention tests, streaming reliability checks, protocol and leak testing, and a review of each provider's latest third-party audit. We refresh pricing and server availability regularly. We are reader-supported and may earn a commission from links on this page — this does not change the ranking method.
